DURUM WHEAT

BOURBON DURUM WHEAT

The proposed variety is a recently registered Italian genetic (2022), characterised by an average cycle and balanced agronomic behaviour.

The medium size of the plant represents an important advantage, as it guarantees good resistance to lodging, even in conditions of high productivity or in the presence of intense climatic events.

These characteristics make durum wheat a reliable choice for those aiming for stable, quality production.

Sowing time and dose

To obtain the best production results, it is essential to respect the correct sowing timing and density.

Sowing rate: 180-220 Kg/Ha

Sowing period: approximately from 10th to 20th November in Central Italy

Correct sowing management helps promote uniform crop development and optimize final yield.

Quality and resistance

One of the distinctive elements of this variety is its high protein content, which makes it particularly interesting for quality production.

Furthermore, it has good tolerance to major plant diseases, helping reduce the risks associated with disease and environmental stress. This is essential for ensuring long-term production stability.
